Emma learned how to "army crawl" today. Funny thing- we've been trying to "teach" (by this I mean we show her--boy did we look silly--, put her on her knees and push her along, coax her with favorite toys, etc.) for MONTHS. Hmmm...know what finally pushed her to crawl on her own? She wanted Scout's paperwad. And once she got the prize, it went straight to the mouth and that mean mom had to take it away.
She's definitely developing a personality. She understands "no" and doesn't like it one bit! At the sound of the word, she tenses up and screams, turning all red. Yikes! Terrible twos? Umm....try 9 months! And what a sense of humor. She found it funny today to mimic mama and put a sock on her own and her mama's head. And even funnier? Bouncing to Jimmy Eat World and playing with mama's wiggling feet!
